STEVEN M. BARNETT, Founder & General Manager

In addition to his role as General Manager of InnoGrove Steve Barnett is Principal of Barnett Technical Services, a company that provides consulting and product distribution in the field of materials science. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from McGill University and an MBA from UC Davis. Steve is also a Mentor in the Monterey Trails DATA Program for high school students and speaks with students at various levels (from elementary to university) about science and careers in technology fields.

Steve lives in Elk Grove with his wife and their many pets. He enjoys travel, working out at the gym (which does not occur frequently enough!), and meeting new people from different cultures.

ZAMIR OMAID, Technical Specialist & Office Manager

Working at InnoGrove for three years now, Zamir has received members, guests, and future clients to provide hospitable means of developing startups and small businesses to accomplish InnoGrove’s goals. His attention to detail, organization, office and administrative work, and passion for helping people has provided InnoGrove members with a comfortable and cleaner environment to be welcomed into. Zamir is a California State University, Sacramento, student studying Computer Engineering. He loves to learn about and work with technology. He brings computer literacy to InnoGrove.

CECILIA LARA, Office Co-Manager | Bilingual Support (English/Spanish)

Cecilia brings a wealth of experience in office coordination, client service, and administrative operations to the InnoGrove team. As a part-time office co-manager, she supports our members and guests by helping maintain a productive, welcoming environment. With a professional background in business services and certifications in multiple industries, Cecilia ensures that the coworking space runs smoothly and efficiently.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Cecilia is passionate about creating inclusive spaces and supporting the diverse entrepreneurial community at InnoGrove. Whether you’re dropping in for the day or working from your dedicated space, she’s here to help make your experience a great one.

PETER HANSELL

Peter Hansell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from San Francisco State University and a Master’s in History from California State University East Bay, blending creative design expertise with strong analytical and research skills. He began his entrepreneurial journey during the web 1.0 era by founding Aspen Media, a company that grew to over 20 employees and served high-profile clients such as Franklin Templeton, Yahoo, Levi’s, and PG&E. He also led pioneering web projects for major media outlets through Susquehanna Corporation and later developed digital benefits platforms for union trust fund administrators.

In the gaming industry, Peter has overseen the launch of over two dozen titles, including 20 board games and 8 video games. His board game Wealth of Nations earned a nomination for the Origins Award for Board Game of the Year in 2009, while his online game Dawn of the Dragons achieved million-dollar monthly sales milestones. Since 2018, Peter has worked in the scientific instrumentation sector as a technician, sales engineer, and instrument support specialist, providing software, hardware, and robotics expertise to clients like NASA, Intel, Tesla, and Princeton University.

FAITH ROBERTS, Emeritus Community and Office Manager

In addition to his role as General Manager of InnoGrove Steve Barnett is Principal of Barnett Technical Services, a Faith is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a B.A. in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Film and is a devout Yoga Instructor. After college, she developed a strong devotion for health and environmental advocacy. One summer while traveling along the west coast with friends, she fell in love with the many facets California offers and decided to relocate. She is constantly recognized for her community outreach and passion for people. She enjoys travel, independent films, reading, fitness, photography, dance, art, and engaging start up projects. In her spare time you can usually find her adventuring the great outdoors or eating at a cool new restaurant.
